Account Services Director

The Account Services Director acts as the liaison between our development teams and our clients while also overseeing account services.

Our ideal candidate is a digital native who loves all things communications and thrives on out-of-the-box thinking and team work.

Reporting to the partners, the Account Services Director is the main point of contact between the agency and our clients. The Account Services Director will build lasting, trust-based relationships with each client, while striving to understand their unique business challenges and working to define their strategic direction. The Account Services Director is also responsible for understanding each client’s markets while ensuring that their team does as well. They will be expected to take an active role in managing a variety of projects and keeping an eye out for potential business development opportunities with existing clients.

⦁ Prospecting, scheduling appointments and making sales presentations
⦁ Fully analyzing and understanding the mandates and business objectives of clients
⦁ Effectively communicating mandate requirements to internal teams
⦁ Overseeing the commercial qualifications of projects
⦁ Safeguarding sound GO/NO-GO business decision-making
⦁ Participating in the pitch process and/or collaborating with the business development team to prepare new/existing client proposals
⦁ Establishing specific timelines, making sure to take each critical step into account
⦁ Ensuring daily contact with clients and internal contacts for account purposes
⦁ Responding to client requests in a timely manner
⦁ Demonstrating a thorough understanding of each client’s business and competitive environment
⦁ Monitoring strategic/competitive intelligence and providing input, as needed
⦁ Developing a positive relationship in partnership with all the clients and partners
⦁ Collaborating from the outset of the production process
⦁ Controlling the account’s overall budget
⦁ Coordinating outreach activities
⦁ Ensuring a unified, consistent approach across all disciplines
⦁ Supporting senior management


⦁ At least 10 years of relevant experience, including 5 years of agency-side experience in a client services role
⦁ A solid understanding of video games and the digital landscape
⦁ A firm grasp of the creative and production processes
⦁ Social media content management experience an asset
⦁ Strong interpersonal and communication skills
⦁ Proven organizational skills and an eye for detail
⦁ The ability to multitask on a variety of projects
⦁ A demonstrated ability to remain calm in high-stress situations
⦁ The ability to design creative presentation materials and present them in publicG Suite proficiency (e.g. Google Slides, Sheets)
⦁ A post-secondary education, ideally in marketing or communications
Must be fluently bilingual
